Good food, nice ambiance, family friendly. SUPPLEMENT...... You could have earned a 5th Star if the service was better. She took our order, messed up the drinks, and didn't even deliver the food... She never checked on us and I had to ask her for my bill. I still left 20% because everyone has a bad day. That's why the 5th Star was not awarded.. I'm from Massachusetts and use to go to the Chucks location in Auburn Mass. Frequently. I loved the wooden bottle menu...

Woodsie feel at the beach with delicious food. Tasty mushrooms and Swiss on top of my burger. And the pulled pork sliders were smokey good.

We live in ohio and vacation in Myrtle beach every summer. One of our main highlights is our vacations is going to Chuck’s Steakhouse at least twice if not more during our vacation. We just heard that you will be closing permanently. We are so sad about this. EVERYTHING at your restaurant is amazing!!! The ribs, steaks, wings, burgers, shrimp, even the cheese and crackers during happy hour are sooooooo so fantastic!! We will miss you!! Thank you for the many fabulous meals you prepared or us!!

Really good food and service. The place was very busy and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We all got burgers which were really good. Entrés except sandwiches and burgers will come with a salad bar.

One of the best Strip steaks I've had. Salad bar and fresh warm rolls were really good. Steak fries were better than Red Robin. Price was fair for what you get. Service was top notch. Parking lot was almost full but our party of 5 still got seated immediately. I will be back.

Salad bar was fresh and good. Cheese bar was nice. The prime rib was sliced thin and fatty but had a nice flavor. Overpriced for 4 bites of meat. The filet was dry aged which adds an odd flavor. So basically over a hundred dollars for a good salad. The bread had an odd taste. The yeast had soured i think.

This is the most amazing filet mignon we have ever had. We are from Pennsylvania and we wanted to end our trip with a great steak house! I'd give 10 stars if I could. The atmosphere was so nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and overall just A++

Sadly, we had a bad experience here. Made a reservation for 4 at 6pm. Arrived at 5:55pm. Hostess said it would be a 10-15min wait. 30 minutes later, no word on our table, so I dropped the buzzer at the desk and left. No one there. Disappointed because 1. We made a reservation and it wasn't honored and 2. They get good reviews. Also - they weren't really enforcing the mask rules. Lots of middle aged white men who are entitled.

Very nice restaurant. Food is excellent, and staff is perfect outside of not wearing mask for our protection. Makes me apprehensive about visiting again until they take my safety more seriously.

Not even going to lie....... BEST pork chop I have ever eaten. Juicy and tender with excellent flavor. Will be back very soon!

We eat Chucks every single Saturday night. We have never had a bad meal. We love the steaks;, however, my favorite is the salmon, and my husband loves the pork chops. Salad bar is always great. In our experience, you always know what you are going to get when you eat at Chucks. GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE. My husband's always says why go anywhere else when we know we get the best at Chucks.

We have been eating here for many years but we all (party of 7) were very disappointed a few days ago. All steaks came out way over cooked. Mine was very well done. They re-cooked it and it came out almost burned. The cuts were not the same quality as we were accustomed to getting there. Some servers had masks on but one kept coming to the table with it hanging under his chin. I was not comfortable with that. My husband ordered Teriyaki Sirloin but for a plain tasting piece of steak. I hope things improve here but I doubt they will

Friendly service, food was wood but was not fantastic as it was before the owner change.

It was ok, I've had better steak for less price. The waiter was very good and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. Nice place to go for a date but again, there was nothing special about the steak or food.

We visited this location on whim, July 2020. The atmosphere was great! Not too crowded. Every staff member that we came in contact with was super nice, very polite, and very helpful ! The food was amazing! Our waitress was one of the best that I’ve ever been in contact with. I would recommend this location to anyone!

Really dark I understand its a rustic steakhouse but couldn't distinguish what things were on the salad bar Items on the salad bar were fresh but could stand a little more diversity of items. The prime rib was not quite as good as the last time I was there I wonder if they're using a different cut of beef but the peace they gave me was yuge 16 oz portion had to be at least 20 oz the highlight of the evening was definitely our server Alexis she was on the ball definitely a cut above your typical server

Very enjoyable experience. Jay was our server and was excellent. I am a steak lover and didn't care for the teriyaki sirloin (the regular was much better!) but my husband enjoyed his. Kids meals are very reasonable. Salad bar was nice and had a good selection of items. Employees were on top of everything, would gladly go back again!

The food was good. The flavor of the filet was good but not great. I asked for extra seasoning and there was none. Just a good steak. Maybe try one of the other steaks.

I had been unimpressed with many restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. But my wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at Chuck's because we both wanted steak and it did not disappoint. Everything was great, from the awesome salad bar, to the fresh, hot rolls, to the perfectly mixed sweet tea. But then the steak - oh man it was cooked to perfection! It had just enough char on the outside to give it that smokey flavor I love and was extraordinarily tender (I highly recommend the fillet!). My kids also loved it and I was very much surprised at how reasonably priced their kids menu was. $4.95 was all we paid for steak tips and fries for our 7 year old. Our waiter was provided great service and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They also accepted a 10% off coupon we found online, which I wasn't sure was legit (Google it if you plan on going). Chuck's has been around almost 50 years, so they're doing something right.

Our Favorite Steakhouse! We always fit in a visit to Chucks. Nice place, great atmosphere, fine dining casually. Service is always top notch and tonight was no exception. Frozen margaritas are yummmm! Go Big! Early Bird and Senior specials - great dishes, smaller portions, fantastic prices. My husband gets the pork chop and raves about it every time. I get the sirloin - cooked to perfection, our friends get the ribs or the prime rib. Great salad bar and... cheese and crackers while you wait for your meal.

Shockingly bad service though the food was decent! I was looking forward to my friend’s birthday celebration but the service was so bad and then to top it off they were rude like we had inconvenienced them by coming in. First and last!

We arrived for an early dinner and it was delicious. Steak and prime rib were both perfectly prepared. Our server, Louis, was great. He checked on us just enough. We felt cared for but not hovered over.

Food was delicious, steak was cooked perfectly, baked potato was great, and the salad bar had a wide variety of options. Prices were great considering the amount of food that we got. My waitress was very pleasant, she checked on us multiple times and was overall very sweet. The only problem I had was the hostess station. 3 young girls were standing around talking, on their cell phones, and ignoring the fact that we were clearly waiting on a table, they made eye contact multiple times but still ignored us. My cousin walked up and asked if there was a wait since we had not even been spoken to and they said no we have tables open. She asked if we needed to seat ourselves and the young girl said no we will. Still had to ask to be seated. First impressions make everything and I would really recommend they have a chat with the hostess’, if the food wasn’t as good as it was I would not return.

Steak and sweet potato was great. Simple but awesome salad bar! Great service and cool atmosphere. We came 2 years ago on our biannual family vacation and had to come back this year. Will be back if back in Myrtle a couple years from now.

A must!!! Had Filet mignon & Lobster. Was impressed with the size of lobster tail. It was soooo good. They made the best Raseberry Margirita, I've ever had.

Very glad that Chuck’s re-opened....enjoyed excellent prime rib with baked sweat potato...delicious. Service was excellent....we will be back.

I had the early bird special sirloin steak which was delicious. The baked potato was huge and hot and fluffy. The salad bar had everything you could want including hot rolls. There also is a cheese bar where you can slice your cheese and get crackers. It was crazy busy but our waiter kept us with our party of 7 and was efficient and friendly.

Been coming for years. Glad to see it open again. Great food and staff. Since 1979!

First visit. Overall, very good. We were sat on a back indoor patio. Chairs were great for a deck but a little uncomfortable for dinner. Great salad bar and they provide and required gloves for each visit. I had a filet. Great taste. Will visit again.

Honestly I have zero complaints. The food was delicious and the service was great. We both enjoyed our steaks and lobster tails that were all cooked perfectly. Our server (Alexis) was probably the best waitress we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I thought it was thoroughly mediocre. Pricing is high for quality you get. Better quality and service at texas roadhouse. Salad bar served with steak was not what i expected at this price. Steak was cooked correctly, but just not flavorful or juicy. Disappointing experience, this place has 4.5* how?

My family and I just went here and everything was amazing, we had a wonderful time and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server from NY can't remember her name was on point, very friendly! I felt very safe especially during COVID-19, they took all the proper measures to make us feel safe. Will definitely be back for sure!

Normally this is a great place. It is on the waterway and very quaint. Happy hour everyday from 4 to 7. $10 drinks that wont3 disappoint. I suggest you order at the bar so you can make sure the bartender does ya right. But they recently opened back up. Our new york strip steak came out well done and was dry (we order med well) the shrimp scamppie was that great. The tables are still close together so social distancing is issue. But our waiter was great. 4 of us ate and had one happy hour drink a piece and total was $170.

Air conditioned out side patio with relaxing river view. Prime rib was perfect! Best we've had in South Carolina. Entire staff was friendly. Restaurant was very clean, organized, and well set up.

Absolutely delicious steaks! Cooked to your exact request! Prices can be scary, but I can assure you, it is worth it. Great venue for special occasions, fun atmosphere, great staff!

The best 10 oz salmon I've ever eaten. They should get a ten Star because 5 stars doesn't do justice for them.

Due to the lockdown during phase one, Chuck's announced they were closing forever, but thankfully for us and the rest of the dining public, they have reopened! We own a condo in Cherry Grove, so we're down once a month, and so glad Chuck's is back in the rotation of our go-to restaurants! Chuck's is reasonably priced with excellent kids' and seniors' and early bird menu selections. Their salad bar is the best we've ever been to, and even with COVID restrictions in place, we felt quite safe in visiting the salad bar - they provide disposable gloves for your dominant hand so that nobody has to touch the serving utensils. The same goes for their taco bar and cheese and cracker station. We had 4 adults, 3 children in our party, and all of our meals were done to perfection. Excellent selections of seafood, beef, and chicken dishes. Chuck's accepts reservations and also will accommodate walk-ins. THANK YOU CHUCK'S FOR FINDING A WAY TO REOPEN!!

Food was excellent and so was the service. We are just visiting the area but we will definitely return if we visit again.

Great food great place and reasonable price..came with a local from Mytle and we ordered the 32 ounce prime rib.cooked to perfection.But could only eat about a quarter.

The food was sensational, the service impeccable - John B. was so great, we might have mistaken we were in the Queen's castle! The steaks were of the best cut and expertly prepared, matched with excellent accompaniments. We were seated immediately - not usual (thanks covid); great food, service and atmosphere - usual!

I love this place. The salad bar is delicious, atmosphere is wonderful, and steaks are delicious.

Great place for steak! My wife and I both got the sirloins and they were fantastic. Our daughter had the steak tips and she loved them They grill on the less done side. We ordered medium and we got medium rare. Other than that, perfect! Definitely would come back.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the Prime Rib and Sirloin were amazing. Hats off to everyone at Chuck's for a wonderful dining experience.
